I have seen this done on a lot of blogs and to encourage conversation among my readers and I, I have decided to try my hand at something new. So here we are...Tuesday thoughts..."A Penny for Your Thoughts"

Here's your first: A Penny for Your Thoughts
If you could put 10 things in a box to be opened 50 years from now what would you put in it?
I would put:
1. A scrapbook of my family and friends.
2. A newspaper from today.
3. A dollar bill.
4. A current picture of Hubby and I.
5. Some jewelry I made.
6. A style magazine.
7. A print out of my facebook profile so I can look back and laugh at myself!
8. A USB with all my blog posts to date so I can look back on my thoughts, memories and experiences.
9. A CD of the current popular music.
10. A picture of my dog.

It's like a journal!
I did a time capsule of sorts with friends in 7th grade, as one of them was moving to another state. We met up two years ago (10 years later) and opened it up. We had made a tape recording where we all talked together and then talked individually about our friends, and we each added a couple things in that described us and our friendship. It was SO MUCH FUN and we had lots of laughs. It was really cool because three of us went to see the one who moved away and it was the first time we'd seen her since. :)
That was a first for me too. Thank you. I wasn't really sure what to do. I hope I got it right.

Kristina - I thought the FB thing was pretty funny. I mean think about it...50 years from now i doubt FB is around and how funny would it be to look at that printout 50 years from now. I'm sure my grandkids would get a kick out of it!!
Oh that time capsule thing would be neat. I like the USB with blog posts the best. I cannot wait to look back on my blog posts of today, say in 10 years or so.
krystyn - I think it would be a neat thing to look back on - to share with my family. This is the best record of my life. I share picture, memories and experiences here.
