Welcome to my humble abode...

I told you I would invite you to take a peak at my heavenly home! Hubby and I bought our sweet little home last May before the wedding. It wasn't supposed to be done until mid-June, but it ended up being done in April, so we had a slight change of plans.

I absolutely love our house and I hope you do too! I worked really hard to make it presentable to you today!!

So without further ado...

My home

(yes this picture is from my last post - I forgot to take another one today)

When you first walk into the house, you enter our entryway. There are two coat closets. The one on the left has my china, the vacuum cleaner, a step stool and the carpet cleaner. The one on the right actually holds coats, jackets and board games. Straight ahead you will see our living room on the other side of the arches.

Here's our living room again walking more into the house. To the left of the couch is an oversized chair and ottoman. The picture hanging up was my anniversary present this year. It's a collage of all of our wedding pictures!

If you look to your right when you come in the door you will see our formal dining room where the Christmas tree is. If you walk to the arches, you can also see our bar.

If you walk through the arches towards the bar and kitchen, here's a view looking towards the entry way, living room and dining room.

Going back to the bar, which overlooks the whole front of the house, you will see our stockings hung with care! Do you also see my ribbon trees?? The second pictures is my shelf of elephants. I collect them from everywhere I go or people bring me some from places they go!

Turn right after the elephants and you're in the kitchen. On your left is the stove, microwave, fridge and additional counter space. To the right is the sink and the bar.

Connected to the sink is more counter and cabinet space along with the dishwasher. At the end of that counter is the garage door.

Right past the garage door is our little breakfast nook. The first picture is the view from standing in the middle of the kitchen. Sorry the picture is so crummy. To the left of the nook are our two pantries. Yes two. I have all my cooking and baking stuff in the one on the left. In the pantry on the right I have snacks, cereal and other miscellaneous things :)

The view looking out towards the rest of the kitchen from the breakfast nook.

If you take a right out of the kitchen you come to the gallery/main hallway. It leads you to the back of the house. In the hallway I have a little entry table (do you see my new nativity scene?) and the beginning of my picture gallery. I'm slowly adding pictures when frames are on sale.

Walk down the main hallway, take a left at the next hallway and that brings you to the guest bath and additional bedrooms. The second picture is the guest bath that's on your left as you enter the hallway.

Here's the views of the guest bath. It's pretty tiny. The pictures above the toilet are by yours truly! I took them at our first anniversary dinner and had them printed. I bought frames at the dollar store and then antiqued them. Super easy project and they look great in here!

If you continue down the hallway, the next doorway after the bathroom on your left is the guest bedroom. It's pretty plain Jane. Do you see all my Christmas presents to be wrapped at the end of the bed? That humongous crate is Boudreaux's. This is also his room.

Directly across from the guest room is my craft room. One of my favorite rooms for sure. When you walk in you see my large shelf to the right. My working table straight ahead and to the right is my cricut machine in the way back and then another set of shelves.

The shelves on the right hold all my miscellaneous craft items. Scrapbook stuff, stamping supplies, stuff to make my coasters, embellishments, markers, magazines for inspiration. It has a little bit of everything. On the other side of the room are my shelves for everything jewelry. Say hello to Spunk & Sass designs! There is everything I need for my Etsy store!

Exit the craft room and take a left heading back to the gallery and on your left you will find our office. We have a huge desk that we got free from some friends. We have my parent's old couch in there that's also a sleeper in case we have a lot of people over. Our degrees are on the wall above the couch! Do you see my honors cords? Cum laude baby!

If you leave the office and take a left back to the main gallery, you then take another left where you'll see the laundry room and the secluded entry to our master bedroom. Here we are in the master. Do you see our little bity TV? I won that at project prom and it still hasn't kicked the bucket. One day we will upgrade!

As you saw in the master bedroom pictures, we have two double doors that open up to the master bathroom. The double doors in the first picture are to our walk-in linen closet. The doorway to the left of the linen closet is to the toilet room. When you walk into the bathroom the second picture is on your left. Our big garden tub. Adjacent to the tub is the shower in picture three. In picture four is the vanity and sink area. That's to your right as you walk in the bathroom.

To the right of the linen closet is the doorway to our master closet. It's like a big square. To the left is Hubby's side. To the right is mine.

Here is more on the master closet. I get the built-in shelves because Hubby got most of the dresser. I found it to be a fair trade :) Then I bought framed cork bulletin boards and that's where I hang a lot of my necklaces.

If you go back out of our bedroom to the main gallery and take an immediate right, you will end up in our laundry room. Pretty basic. Hubby picked out the washer and dryer :) I likey!

If you walk through the laundry room, there's the back door to the backyard. The first picture is looking to the left and the second picture is looking to the right. Our yard isn't huge, but it's plenty big for right now.

And that's all folks!

I hope you enjoyed your trip around my home! I love my house and was really excited to share it with y'all. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
