Tell us a little about yourself.

Well, I'm pretty much just a girl who decided to start a blog because she liked to write. I'm shy (in real life), quiet, and not the neatest person in the world. But I do like to be organized (go figure). I'm inspired by color and music and love.

What is your favorite hobby/favorite thing to do? 

I love music (I've been playing the piano for about 10 years), reading, and I've recently gotten into sewing more. Those are pretty much the things that I spend most of my time doing. :) 

How long have you been blogging? 

Let's see...about a year and a half, I think. 

Where do you find your inspiration (for writing and crafting)? 

A lot of times when I'm feeling stuck, I'll turn to Etsy. I don't even want to admit how many hours I've spent browsing there! But I can always seem to find something inspiring. 

What do you enjoy most about blogging? 

I enjoy the community. I can express myself and find that others feel the same way. Sometimes I feel like I'm closer to my bloggy friends than people I've actually met! 

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? 

I read. A LOT. I like to sew, crochet, make cards...baking is always fun for me. And spending time with my sweetheart is always at the top of my list. :) 

What is your favorite food? 

Mmmm, chicken and dumplings! They're SO good. 

Favorite TV show and/or movie (if you have one)? 

Well, I don't watch a lot of TV. But I love to watch movies. The Lord of the Rings trilogy is a favorite, and also Pride & Prejudice (the one with Colin Firth and the one with Kiera Knightly). 

Have you read any great books lately? 

I recently finished Liz Curtis Higgs' The Lowlands of Scotland series. It's a tale based (quite loosely) on the story of Jacob, Rachel and Leah from the Bible, and I really enjoyed it. Just don't expect it to exactly mirror the Biblical tale. 

Tell us something interesting about yourself. 

Hmmm...my birthday is on Christmas Day. Interesting enough? ;)

See? Total sweetheart!! However, she's not only sweet as can be, she's also very talented! She makes these darling little posey pins and you know what?

She offered to give some away...TO YOU!

Use them to dress up an outfit, a hat, a scarf...just about anything!
