iPhone Picture Apps
I find that I use my iPhone a lot for spontaneous pictures. Especially since it's easy to share them on Facebook :) We all know I love photography and taking pictures, so it would only make sense that I'd have a couple neat apps on my iPhone for taking said pictures.
Yes, the iPhone's camera is pretty great, but I love enhancing my photos a bit and well it just gives them that extra edge. I've found 2 camera apps that I use almost religiously for my iPhone photos. I have probably 6 or so apps for photography on there, but the following two are the ones I use most and have familiarized myself with....
{Best of all...they're free!}
ShakeItPhoto
Love this app! When you want to take a picture, you open up this app and it brings up your camera. You take your picture and if you like it, you click use. Then it turns it into a Polaroid...complete with the undeveloped photo that you have to "shake" to develop. You get to watch your picture develop right there old school style and to sweeten the deal, it even makes the old "Polaroid" sound. AND your pictures are super cute with a vintage tint.
Next is...
Adobe Photoshop Express
If you love editing your pictures and you love PhotoShop (or some variation), then you will love this app. The capabilities are so cool and it's so easy to use. With a few taps of your fingers, you can turn an ordinary picture into something really beautiful.
Take for instance this picture I took with my regular iPhone camera...
Decent picture, but nothing spectacular right?
So now I take and adjust the exposure and contrast...
Voila! Boosted with incredibly vibrant colors! Look at those beautiful green leaves! Even the trunks of the trees seem more detailed. It went from drab to fab {lol}
Wanting something more classic? Turn your original photo black and white by selecting "Black and White" under one of the toolbars at the top and then boom!
Gorgeous.
You can also select from 7 different effects for your photo. Here's the soft black and white option...
It gets better!
You can also select to add a border. You're given 8 different options. Here is my black and white picture with the rough edge...
This version is my favorite. I think it's so gorgeous. I actually want to get this one printed :) And the best part was that it was all free...not to mention done on my cell phone. Oh where technology can take us...
Hope you enjoyed this fun little post. I know I love finding out about new iPhone apps.
{P.S. this is the park where we took our maternity pictures last night. It's such a gorgeous, peaceful, little place.}

I would love this! The polaroid one sounds so cool. I wish I had an iPhone but I'm stuck 2.5 more years on contract with my phone, which is a good enough phone so I might as well stick with it.
I had no idea there was an adobe photoshop express. Downloading now, *trust me*.
That said, instagram, hipstamatic, and camera+ are all fun photo apps, and I'm pretty sure the first two are free. :)
Oooh love love love these! I will be downloading them asap!
I love Instagram. It's free and you can do fun things to edit your pics as well as post them in a feed for others to follow and comment on. I really love it!
