Happy Birthday

{Happy Birthday to Me!}

Today is my 26th birthday :)

It came up fast, probably because I've been so focused on our little girl's arrival. I love birthdays. I love getting a new number for the year and looking back at what the past year has brought me.

25 was good...no great! A lot of wonderful things happened, including getting a new job and getting pregnant.

It's funny though, as you get older, you really don't know what to ask for. Many people have asked over the last few days "What do you want for your birthday?" I honestly have no idea what to tell them! I don't need anything, so anything I would tell them would be a want, which I guess is what birthdays are partly for.

Hubby got me a new point and shoot camera as mine broke. I got the Canon PowerShot A2200 and it's pretty awesome. I really needed a new one as I'm about to be on picture overload ;) Then I got a nookcolor, which is pretty handy. One of my friends got me an icing gun for cake decorating, that you can see from the picture above, I tried out last night. {Totally awesome, btw.}

My Dad called this morning asking what I wanted and all I could tell him was that "Well you know I always love James Avery." He laughed, but it's the truth. At least it's something that I know I would get a lot of use out of and it's sentimental. I'm all about that these days. The only other thing I can think of is some pretty summer dresses that I can wear and be comfortable in with a new baby. So lame, right? Hey, at least I didn't ask for tupperware like I'm known to do! But you know...some dish towels would be pretty awesome too. haha!

So anyways...I'm 26 today and loving life. I'm grateful for all I've been given and all that I'm about to receive. I'm looking forward to another year of life, love, laughter and new experiences.
