2 months

My sweet baby girl is 2 months old (as of yesterday). I'm behind as usual, but whatever. I have no idea how two months has already gone by!!

Dear Lexie,

It really seems like just last week you were born. I'm not sure how you've already grown to be 2 months old, but it's been the most amazing 2 months of mine and your daddy's life. You are such a joy to be around and such a sweet baby. I am overjoyed to finally have you in my life sweetheart. While I'm sad to watch you grow up, it's amazing watching you grow. Daddy says you'll be 16 and asking for the car keys before we know it...I'm not ready to think about that though. Just continue blessing our lives, smiling those sweet smiles, and cooing your sweet coos for now. I love you little one.

Lexie - 2 months

Sleep: You sleep a consistent 8+ hours now

Feeding: You are currently eating 4 oz. every 2-2.5 hours (you hunger monster you)

Diaper size: Still size ones

Routine: You wake up between 6 and 7 am ready to eat. You get your first bottle, burp, and usually go back to sleep. After your next bottle, though, you start your routine of eat, play, sleep for the rest of the day. After your 7pm bottle you tend to go to sleep and wake up just in time for your 9:30 bottle, play a little, and then you're out for the night. Every other day (depending circumstances) you get a bath after your 7 pm bottle and before you fall asleep :)

Clothes size: You are in 0-3, 3 month clothes. Some are still big, but most fit well now. Although, some are still a little big.

At birth - 19.5 inches
2 weeks - 21 inches
1 month - 21.5 inches
2 months - 22.5 inches

Weight:
At birth - 7 lbs. 2 oz.
2 weeks - 9 lbs. 6 oz.
1 month - 10 lbs. 2 oz.
2 months - 12 lbs. 9 oz.

Eye Color:
At birth - Bright blue
1 month - Slightly lighter
2 months - Hazel

Hair Color:
At birth - Dark brown
1 month - (a lot fell out) lighter brown
2 months - light brown/auburn

Nicknames: Pretty, Lexie Girl, Lexie Bear, Lexie Anne, munchkin, little one, baby girl

Funniest moments: You are starting to communicate with coo's and you're so funny as you try to mimic our faces. You also make funny faces when you're really trying to poop. Then once you poop you smile like you're so proud of yourself. I think you're getting close to laughing too because you'll open your mouth wide but no sound comes out until the end and that's when you screach.

Milestones: You have started smiling a lot and smiling more when you recognize me and Daddy. Your arms are getting stronger through tummy time and you're pretty much a pro at holding your head up and relatively steady. You're still a bit of a bobble head if you get to excited or try to look at something too quickly.
