7 weeks

I'm a little behind as Alexis will be 8 weeks old tomorrow, but whatever. Here's her 7 week stats...

Sleeping: She has been consistently sleeping 8 hours for the last week so we are a very happy family. We seem to have gotten into a routine and that helps. She's a very good sleeper. She naps a little during the day, but is up a lot of the day taking it all in.

Eating: During the day she eats every 3 hours. She gets her last bottle between 9 and 9:30 pm and then she goes to sleep. She'll get up around 6 am ready to eat!! Then she goes back to sleep for 3 hours or so and is ready to eat again and from there she'll eat every 3 hours - almost to the dot! She's like an alarm clock.

Activity: She's very alert these days and awake most of the day. She loves to look around and watch the ceiling fan especially. She's starting to smile A LOT more lately and coo...all the time. It's so cute!! She seems to have found her hands too and like to suck on her fist.

Likes: She loves her bouncer chair! It's her favorite. She loves watching the ceiling fan. She loves watching our faces too. She's starting to mimic sounds and facial expressions we make. She LOVES outside. We go for walks and she's in heaven. We also go sit in the backyard and she loves it. She loves car rides and goes right to sleep. She loves bath time and her bath tub. She loves mommy and daddy best though :)

Dislikes: She doesn't like to be hungry...AT ALL. She doesn't like her nose suctioned or her ears cleaned. She doesn't like her face wiped down after spit up. She definitely lets up know when she has a dirty diaper. She isn't very patient and wants what she wants when she wants it. Hmm sounds like her mama lol.

Highlights of the week: Lots of smiles, more alert and sleeping well! She continues to do well on formula but is still getting breastmilk alternated between formula bottles. I love my sweet girl!!
