8 weeks

**She was 8 weeks on Friday (the 15th) so I'm a little behind...trying to catch up**


Sleeping: She's continued to sleep consistently for 8 or more hours at night. She has several short naps during the day too. She must wiggle a lot in her sleep, though, because she's always at the end of her bassinet and half way out of her swaddle at the top lol.

Eating: She's a hunger monster! I think she may be going through a growth spurt because she's been eating about every 2 hours during the day. Typically she would go 2.5-3, but she's been getting hungry a lot sooner. She's still eating 4 ounces at every feeding.

Activity: She's very alert and loves to look around. We go on walks and she looks around at everything she can possibly see. She really likes for me to hold her facing outward so she can look around. She's starting to kick and become really excited when we lay her on her activity mat. She flail her arms and hit a toy and then looks at it like "what was that?" She's doing well with tummy time and is strengthening her arms, but not really lifting up on them like a mini push up. More to push up enough to move her head side to side. If we do tummy time with a pillow or the boppy then she is able to push up better. She's also starting to kind of squeal along with her cooing.

Likes: Loves her bouncer chair and her bassinet. She loves facing outward when you hold her. Still loves to lay on your chest an nap. Likes for us to work her legs like a bike. Loves the ceiling fan. Likes to stand and put weight on her legs. LOVES to eat :) Loves to be talked to and coo'd at. Loves bath time!! Likes to lay on her changing table after a diaper change and "air out" haha

Dislikes: She doesn't like to get dressed after a bath and doesn't like if you take too long to change a diaper. She doesn't like to be hungry and wakes up with a vengeance in the morning after sleeping all night. She doesn't like gas bubbles in her tummy or if you take the bottle away to burp her.

Highlights of the week: Hitting the 2 month mark and being as cute as always. She's such a happy, content baby and is easy to please. I've learned her cries and what she's wanting so that helps a lot. She's growing like a weed, smiling more every day, and being loved like crazy!
