I really am still here...
I guess I kind of took an unannounced leave of absense! Things have benn crazy around here, so allow me to fill you in on everything the last month...
{1} I got a new job! (and a raise!)
That's right! I quit my old job at the engineering firm and accepted a position at a local architecture firm. I'm doing marketing and PR there. I started last Monday and absolutely love it :) I took a week off before I started to get my wheels straight and started with a bang. I'm goetting to be a lot more creative and immerse myself in more design. It was a great first week!
{2} I sewed a tote bag/diaper bag
I wanted something I could carry as a purse and diaper bag. It works out pretty well for me!
{3} I learned to make baby shoes (and now I'm addicted)
I found some free patterns and wanted to try them out. I absolutely love how they turned out and they all fit her!
{4} Mybaby rolled over!
September 17 @ 3pm she rolled over for the first time!
And now I'll leave you with a few cute pictures of baby girl...

Congrats on the new job! Glad to hear you're loving it. You made that bag? It's so much nicer than anything I've seen in the stores! That's one thing I have yet to buy because I haven't seen anything I like enough to spend the money. I love love love the shoes. You've got a lot of talent.
Congratulations on your new job! I could not be more jealous and I am so happy for you! Yay for design! Please post all the interesting things you get to do and see all day? Pretty please?
And the bag is awesome, the shoes are adorable and your girl is as cute as can be!
Congrats on the new job and the raise! Love the bag and the shoes. If you made a boy version I would definitely be tempted to buy them from you. :) And such gorgeous pictures!
She is absolutely beautiful, Val!!
Love all the cute little things you've sewn. Especially the tote and that last pair of baby shoes! Alexis is TOO stinking cute!
Sounds like you've been a pretty busy lady, but I love, love, love that bag you made. I would love to be able to make something like that!
